This image was scanned then colored on the computer. I didn't have enough time to add shading.
Just a close up of the Gold Fighter's mask and hair.The Gold Fighter is Gohan's crime fighting alter ego. In other words his costume. Instead of making Gohan Saiyaman I chose to make him the Gold Fighter. Why? Well one because I think the Saiyaman costume was totally lame and the Gold Fighter rocked, and two because it fit better with my story. I can't see a Gohan who's spent years training (and never stopped in my story) becoming someone like Saiyaman. Therefore he is now, and in my opinion much cooler, the Gold Fighter.

HI! Great drawing. One question though. Just out of curiosity... how does the mask stay on his face? It's just that its only on the face... and nothing seems to be connecting it.
It's fine if you don't have an answer, just a random thought. ^^

My thinking was the mask is slightly smaller than his actual face around the edges therefore creating a suctioning effect on the edge of the mask. This suctioning is strong enough to keep it on his face while fighting and flying. Being as the Bulma Briefs created it, I’m sure this was no problem for her.
OHHHHH! Well that makes sense. Haha, like a toilet plunger. XD
Now I can spend my free time wondering about other random things. Thanks.

HAHA Well I hadn't thought of it that way, but I guess that works. Maybe I should call him plunger boy rather than Gold Fighter eh? I'm glad you could find some humor in it L.D.

Well, I say there's just one inconsistency with your picture. The Gold Fighter in the show didn't use a mask. Being a Super Saiyajin was enough to disguise Gohan. Although the change in outfit is definitely a good idea, so that no one gets to suspecting Gohan because of his school uniform. ^^
